How much does it cost to use Square?
Square’s standard processing fee is 2.6% + 10¢ for contactless payments, swiped or inserted chip cards, and swiped magstripe cards. Manually keyed-in payments, processed using Card on File, or manually entered using Virtual Terminal have a 3.5% + 15¢ fee. For more information on fees, click here.
What payment methods can I accept with Square?
You can accept the following card brands and card types through our Square integration: Visa (credit and debit cards), MasterCard (credit and debit cards), American Express, and Discover (US merchants only). You can also use the Square Chip Card Reader to swipe credit cards while you are out in the field.
How long does it take to receive my money?
By default, payouts are made within 1-2 business days using Square’s next business day transfer schedule. If you need your funds faster, you can use instant transfer or same-day transfer to send your funds to your bank account immediately.
How do I get started with Square?
